        There is research that proves that the whole foods plant-based diet can extend your lifespan, it’s something everyone can do. Look at the blue zones. Also that’s a faulty analogy.

          (Obligatory sorry for starting a whole thing, pretty sure we can just agree to disagree right now and call it quits but I felt compelled to comment)

          1. Pointing out selection bias is not a faulty analogy. My whole point was just to underline the anecdotal nature of the article and the fairly surprising habits of the super nonogenerian population and warning against drawing conclusions from them.
          2. ”the whole foods plant-based diet can extend your lifespan”, “Look at the blue zones” - Couldn’t agree more, not convinced that the same goes for full blown veganism though.

          Still want to say, I’m no carnivore nutter, if everyone only ate meat/fish 2-4 meals a week I think we and the climate would be all the better for it.
