Guess the profiteers better stop making tools of violent death to wage oil wars and sell to world governments then… Oh but that would tank our beloved economy! 😱

MFers will be like, “I’m a pacifist, it’s easy, if I ever see a dangerous situation, I just move to safety and call the cops,” that’s not pacifism, you’re just bragging about being privileged enough to have others do violence on your behalf.

    Violent revolutionaries create peaceful nations.

    Peaceful nations create liberal cowards.

    Liberal cowards create oppressive nations.

    Oppressive nations create violent revolutionaries.

Violent revolutionaries also create fascist dictatorships, so let’s try and stop the liberal cowards from ruining everything in the first place.

It’s a lot easier when you find a land that is actually uninhabited. Anyone who has played Civ knows that it is hard to come by late-game.

Now that you mention it, I have no idea if Iceland was uninhabited when the Dutch or the Vikings or whoever showed up. So maybe not entirely non violent.

It was definitely uninhabited. It was the Vikings who founded it. It’s pretty interesting. The icelandic language has changed so little, they can read the original Beowulf text as easily as they read a bus schedule. It’s a really hard land to survive in. The early settlers had to resort to cannibalism several times.

“Oh, that’s OK ser, deny the claim for my necessary surgery despite my paying you in good faith all these years to cover this exact situation. It would be a honor to die for your quarterly earnings expectations.”

Literally what most do, and it’s seen as the right thing. nice to see people waking up, if only for a moment.

Arguably an “all killing is wrong” platform serves an underarmed left. The counterargument is nonviolence relies on shame, which is clearly dead in The West.

Think of all the people that die needlessly due to their insurance claim denials. That is mass murder in the name of profit.

It’s a mistake to think they even consider the people dying by their decisions. It doesn’t cross their minds, their only focus is the money they’re making.

Doesn’t make the people any less dead. Society has let them get away with mass murder for too long. Let’s hope that this is the beginning of a change.
