  • Her brain is not developed enough yet. Its not just some conservative opinion, it’s a scientific fact that her brain is not as developed.

Its also a fact that she has a fraction of the life experiences. She can’t know what things should be like because she has no experience.

Another fact is that they’re in different places in life. She’s still working on being a student, and he’s working on his career. They don’t have any life they can share in common.

Get out of here with your “ephebophilia is ok” shit. It isn’t.

  • I had access to it with GamePass when it launched (I’m full Linux now so I’ve canceled that). I still pirated it because you can’t mod games distributed by Windows unless the specifically allow it. I’m saying this to say, there are alternative means to try it available if you want, but also I regret the time I wasted on it. It wasn’t worth the time spent not even spending money on it specifically, and I love previous Bethesda games and the sci-fi genre.

  • I’ve said this before, and I’ll keep saying it, we need better terms than “social media.” Tumblr, Reddit, and Lemmy I don’t think should be in the same group as Facebook, Twitter, etc. Social media that uses your real life information should be separate from basically forums that use an online persona.

I don’t know what this legislation says, but I agree with you. It should be limited to restricting the “personal social media,” not glorified internet forums.

  • Incorrect. That’s the only thing people notice. The benefit is not having one central authority in control. If Bluesky decides to, for some reason, not allow third-party apps or something, there’s no way to prevent it. If Lemmy.world, for example, does this then they don’t have the authority to enforce it.

The benefit of federation is in removing hierarchy that can harm the platform without the consent of its users. It’s invisible because it’s only preventing something. This does not mean it isn’t beneficial though.
