Reddit didn’t used to be that way. Slowly over time it devolved into the same self-flagellation that happens more on “share my thought” type platforms like Twitter. I hope we are better able to manage our federations to keep that type of content at bay while remaining open enough to let people speak their truth in the face of oppression.

I can pop, or reverse pop my ears at will. Where most people talk about chewing gum to pop their ears on a plane I can push out and suck them in to change the pressure at will. It’s useful to help regulate how much noise gets in (in a small way) too.

I’d be willing to wager a larger percentage of those protesting the increased fuel costs are also “very concerned” about climate change.

Yup, we should be taxing fossil fuels like crazy and putting those funds directly into green infrastructure, but “mah truck!”.

If you eat meat (especially beef or pork) more than once a month you are not an ally in the fight against climate change. Towards that end, meat should be taxed at higher levels than cigarettes or alcohol (in Canada).

Probably filmed in Vancouver/south BC cost. The studio infrastructure is already there and lots of very similar landscapes. The game setting has great potential to be a fantastic series. I really hope they lean into the first nations history too!

Below zero was still an excellent game. I don’t think it was as good as the original, mostly due to the stupid snow Fox and must of the on land sections, but it doesn’t deserve anywhere near the level of hate it gets. The story was way better and more interesting than the first, and the world design was a great attempt at a different form of world building. I hope they expand on both and we can get an experience that propels the format further. No other game let’s me engage and chill out to anywhere near the same level.
