I got one one time, been using it for years. Fuckin’ weird to try on people who are privacy and security conscious. My guess is that they were attempting to see what numbers are using signal in the first place if someone responds with a “fuck off” then the spammer knows they use signal.
This kind of sucks for people who have made automation scripts. It could also have consequences for site owners if it affects accessibility tools for disabled users. It could even be considered malicious under certain laws. If you use something like this you should also have an API.
I’m actually now having the issue when I install things with wine. The text on the header on top of the window is normal, but the installer is tiny. Not a huge issue, just weird. Games are mostly fine when I run them so no big deal.
Thanks, this was it, it’s in display settings for anyone else wondering.
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot!
In my state it’s not stalking if you don’t make any threats. You don’t have an expectation of privacy in public. That’s the argument they use with license plate cameras and other warrantless survelance, tracking, facial recognition, etc.
I can use an sdr to read your water meter and determine how often you go to the bathroom, shower, wash your clothes, and when you’re home and it’s not illegal. I’m allowed to follow you around and take your picture as much as I want to. I can print off as many pictures of you as I want in public and wallpaper my whole house with your face and body, there’s nothing you can do about it. I can do an 8 hour video essay about you and share this with everyone. As long as the info is publicly available (or not in most U.S. states), it’s legal.
Indeed, When I was a kid I would spend hours in front of the magazine rack at the store and use my paper route money to buy one or two.
It’s free on libby if your library has access to it
Make the noodles in a pot, drain, put in flavor packet and pepper.
I too did an install on an old laptop just to check it out. It does throw an overwhelming number of options at you on first start.
Certain groups use it as a coded word, which sounds like they’re talking about a general area, but what they actually mean is their race/religious community.
A google forms alternative would be convenient. You could make an easy to fill out page that inouts to a spreadsheet. Put warranty reminders in your calander for a month before it expires.
In order to use someone elses content under fair use you have to make “meaningful commentary” so they do the bare minimum in order to use other people’s videos.
No, but the drives are constantly being written to, so I’d rather have two in case one fails.
Ah I see with Frigate that makes sense. I’ll just have to backup the config since I don’t want to backup TB’s of footage.
People will just make custom firmware and drivers.
