Either call 211 or go to 211.com and they will help you, they connect you with every community resource for your county, and if you tell them what happened they can help with you even finding a new place and maybe even help get a lawyer. Temporary housing for animals, helping with apartment, help with living expenses, all sorts of stuff

I’d imagine that the ghosts who ditched their unfinished business to explore the world beyond would be doing that exploring in a world beyond so we wouldn’t see them or anything.

It really broke my heart. I loved Reddit, I was on it on RiF one my phone when I didn’t use my computer. It was great for finding all sorts of new stuff and it was genuinely fun. I’d had a few accounts for like a decade or something, but when they killed the alternate programs I just left and never looked back.

I think that calling veganism privileged is a response to the more militant vegans who don’t realize that economic hardship and food scarcity can make their version of veganism unsustainable for some people.
