Oh no, you!

The prequels are alright if you look at them as displays for establishing world building rather than “normal” movies.
They could’ve cut JarJar, though.

“Look, nobody’s going to believe I just materialized here as opposed to evading your security check. How about we work together on getting out of here by blaming Gerasimov or Shoigu?”
“Fine”
100GB?? I’d be more worried about WTF will happen to the rest of my 100TB of storage
Both of us coped just fine. I worked away before we first met, and one gets used to it pretty easily. Past a couple of weeks, the duration doesn’t matter that much either.
Three months. New job, and I moved in advance so I could find a place for myself, GF and kids while they stayed at family.
Other than that, 5-6 weeks routinely (5 weeks in, 5 weeks off), as I used to work offshore. I still work in the same industry, but I’m on-shore support now, so the travels are rarely more than a week at a time, and not as often either.
I sometimes skim Breitbart just to see what the current talking points and bugbears are. Calling it news is a stretch, though - I find that it better fits the definition of a blog.
I think you should, but to a limited degree. It generally makes the work atmosphere better, and it helps pass the time. But be careful about becoming overly invested in those friendships, since one day one of the friends might leave.
This somewhat depends on the work place, though. If there’s room for chitchat without a supervisor being bitchy about socializing on the clock, I don’t see a problem with it.
One caveat is that being on friendly terms is not the same as being friends. Would they be likely to accept an invitation to do something outside of the workplace?
Agree. 15+ years ago tech was developed for the tech itself, and it was simply ran as a service, usually for profit.
Now there’s too much corporate pressure on monetizing every single aspect, so the tech ends up being bogged down with privacy violations, cookie banners, AI training, and pretty much anything else that gives the owner one extra anual cent per user.
Most of it. Beautiful scenery, though. And friendly people.
