Pointing out selection bias is not a faulty analogy. My whole point was just to underline the anecdotal nature of the article and the fairly surprising habits of the super nonogenerian population and warning against drawing conclusions from them.

Still want to say, I’m no carnivore nutter, if everyone only ate meat/fish 2-4 meals a week I think we and the climate would be all the better for it.
Should we also listen to the other “genetic lottery winners” who still smoke and drink at that age?
