    For anyone not familiar with the Miiverse, what’s attractive about it over existing clients?

      Being able to open a thread and pick up OP’s avatar off the ground and watch his little legs kick.

    There’s the pretendo network, which continues support for the 3ds. Haven’t used it myself, but I think the miiverse network is also supported by them.

    So at least you can still use miiverse to some extent, though probably with way fewer people.

      Nope. Just me.

      Even when Street Pass existed on DS, a system that sold some absurd amount like 160 million units, I never once got a street pass interaction.

      And now you think a realworld implementation of street pass for Lemmy, a service with 60k users, is going to be anything besides you wondering where everyone is???
