My little town in the mountains is a Dark Sky community, which most people take pretty seriously. The Commerce people put up bright white streetlights on the less-than-a-mile-long main street last year and everyone’s pissed about it.
In my experience pretty much everything works this easily. Steam games are a click away, Linux support or not. For things outside of steam you can either copy the install folder from a Windows install or just run the installer through Proton.
I was finding more grays and wrinkles for a while but now my eyeballs don’t work as good and it’s all just a blurry mess, so at least I got that goin’ for me
Every Paul I’ve ever met has been an unrelenting asshole.
The only James I know is old and Asian, checks out. However I know like 30 Johns of varying ages.
Things can get rough but I play mostly to have thriving communities with social drama. Deaths happen but that’s part of the challenge. Turn down the difficulty and play it like The Sims, it’s surprisingly chill.
The American Declaration of Independence makes the bold claim that it is a self-evident truth that all men are created equal.
The guy who wrote those words was also raping his slaves. It’s always been this way.
The Matrix posits that the late 90s were the peak of human civilization. Given what’s happened in this millennium so far, I think I’m inclined to agree.
I rationally understand that spiders are mostly beneficial but they’re just so alien. Too many legs, too many eyes, move too fast. Also there are a few that will kill you. Here in SoCal black widows are in every dark spot in my garage.
Season 2 of Disco is the ONLY season of that show I really liked.
Dank Nugs!
Rugrats is a really strong depiction of realistic family dynamics. Lots of interesting stuff in the background. Also one of the best representations of a modern American Jewish family on television, I grew up in a mixed-faith situation as well and the Pickles felt incredibly relatable.
