minus-squarebahama@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·16 days agoHere in our part of the world (Eastern Europe), we don’t really have the concept of “breakfast” food; steak is breakfast, sour soup is breakfast, cabbage rolls are breakfast, etc. everything is breakfast, lol.
minus-squareCase@lemmynsfw.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·16 days agoAs an American who has worked night shift for too long… I’m sick of “breakfast” foods. Bacon, eggs, some carb, maybe spice it up by adding salsa or some shit? Nah, sorry. I’ve had my fill. 8am is dinner time for me. I want steak, burgers, pasta, a fucking meal. I used to live in the “city” or at least, suburbs. I could find something. Moved to rural fly over state recently. I’d rather not eat than shove another form of egg down my gullet.
minus-squareRebekahWSD@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·16 days agoAs a child, I’d often have soup or sandwiches (normal, not with just breakfast ingredients) for breakfast, which always bothered my mother. I also think waffles are an all day food and should not be left to just breakfast times.
