At first I read the title as “I’m sick of my teen son waking up early to make me a multiple course meal for breakfast” and I reflected on how bizarre your relationship with your son is.

Anyway, that’s a lot of delicious food 😍

I would cry tears of joy if my kid did this. What a beautiful jester. Tell him your Lemmy friends say it looks amazing. He’s very talented! Side note: hope you feel better soon.

What’s the second dish pictured? The one that looks like Bell peppers are being simmered in a pot.

Lmao I initially overlooked that you’re OP and thought someone else was coming in here to show you up with another thoughtful son and more food. It’s time for bed.

This is extremely thoughtful, but it is SOOOOOOO much food. Hopefully you got a big family or a big appetite.

I got a big appetite. I’m actually on a weight loss journey, from ~100kg I’m down to ~85 now (gradual, healthy weight loss). I get sick once in a blue moon, so I can afford one day like this in so long… lol

Imagine being a teenager. Hungry AF because being a teenager. Cook a ton of food because hungry AF because teenager. Parent pops head in kitchen “Oh, did you cook for sick old me? That’s so sweet”. Teen: “oh, uhhhh… Yes yes, exactly, that’s what I did!”

I’m sick too and by the looks of it I have to go out grocery shopping in the rain on Monday while trying to preserve as much food until then (primarily bread). T_T

    He’s a keeper!

    But really. Those look awesome!

Although… The Italians wouldn’t approve of parmesan cheese with prawns.

That’s awesome… but isn’t that just a bit heavy for breakfast? My stomach would never speak to me again lol

Here in our part of the world (Eastern Europe), we don’t really have the concept of “breakfast” food; steak is breakfast, sour soup is breakfast, cabbage rolls are breakfast, etc. everything is breakfast, lol.

As an American who has worked night shift for too long… I’m sick of “breakfast” foods.

Bacon, eggs, some carb, maybe spice it up by adding salsa or some shit?

        Nah, sorry.

        I’ve had my fill.

8am is dinner time for me. I want steak, burgers, pasta, a fucking meal.

I used to live in the “city” or at least, suburbs. I could find something.

Moved to rural fly over state recently. I’d rather not eat than shove another form of egg down my gullet.

As a child, I’d often have soup or sandwiches (normal, not with just breakfast ingredients) for breakfast, which always bothered my mother.

I also think waffles are an all day food and should not be left to just breakfast times.
