    I’m a woman on the internet. I’ve been called, “bro”, “my guy”, etc. unless my post/comment is about something people can derive my gender from.

    I answered to the wrong name once and then i got called that name for 2 years - until i changed jobs. Same thing happened with a hug, but that wasn’t identity- i just didn’t stop it on day 1 and then endured it until someone else said something for me.

    I’ve heard there’s a guy named Arbuckle that lives in our area, and looks just like me. It has not affected my life at all, and no, it’s not Jon.
