Hello everyone, I keep receiving the “ace-base” error when trying to launch any game that uses Easy Anti-Cheat—like Fortnite, Halo Infinite, and similar titles.
I’ve already tried several solutions posted on Reddit and YouTube, but unfortunately, none of them have worked for me so far.
I usually play games just once a week to relax, and now I can’t even enjoy that. It’s frustrating. In the past, I used to deal with DLL errors, but they were way easier to fix. This issue seems much trickier.
If anyone knows a working solution, I’d really appreciate it if you could share it in the comments. I have hope that someone here might have the answer.
Thanks in advance, and I wish you all a wonderful day. Stay happy!
ACE is an anti-cheat used by Delta Force, Infinity Nikke, Wuthering Waves and probably many more games.
Rootkit anti cheats don’t like each other running at the same time and I find it plausible there’s a leftover ACE process running somewhere.
I’d say check services.msc (it’s an app on Windows) for any anti cheat services running in the background
This is the first time I’ve heard of this cheat. I don’t use cheats, so why am I getting this error anyway?
Please re-read my message

Can you elaborate on that? You weren’t downloading DLLs from the internet were you?
Edit:
To elaborate on my question, if you were getting DLLs from non-official sources, you could have collected an infected DLL, which might be tripping up the anticheat. Your best bet, if thats the case is to wipe the disk and reinstall windows from scratch, so hopefully its not that.
No, I was talking about older games. In older games, the solution was simple — just downloading a DLL file was enough. But unfortunately, in newer games, it’s much harder to fix the errors you get.
And thank you for trying to help.
Probably your issue, I can’t read the language your screenshot is in
