Hello everyone, I keep receiving the “ace-base” error when trying to launch any game that uses Easy Anti-Cheat—like Fortnite, Halo Infinite, and similar titles.

I’ve already tried several solutions posted on Reddit and YouTube, but unfortunately, none of them have worked for me so far.

I usually play games just once a week to relax, and now I can’t even enjoy that. It’s frustrating. In the past, I used to deal with DLL errors, but they were way easier to fix. This issue seems much trickier.

If anyone knows a working solution, I’d really appreciate it if you could share it in the comments. I have hope that someone here might have the answer.

Thanks in advance, and I wish you all a wonderful day. Stay happy!

ACE is an anti-cheat used by Delta Force, Infinity Nikke, Wuthering Waves and probably many more games.

Rootkit anti cheats don’t like each other running at the same time and I find it plausible there’s a leftover ACE process running somewhere.

I’d say check services.msc (it’s an app on Windows) for any anti cheat services running in the background
